Certified Organic

On our land, and in our feed…. We don't use any herbicides, pesticides, or chemical fertilizers. All our products are produced in accordance with USDA Organic Regulations. They're third-party certified by the Midwest Organic Services Association (MOSA).

No Antibiotics or Artificial Hormones

We don't add daily doses of antibiotics to our cows' feed. And we never use artificial hormones like recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH).

Sustainable Farming

Our farmers care for the land as if they own it-because they do. They take care of the soil, and they take care of their herds. Young cows graze in the fields, and milk cows graze on a rotational basis during the spring, summer, and fall.

Healthy Cows

Good veterinary care and good nutrition. It makes a difference. Our cows are vegetarians; they get a balanced, natural diet of organic hay, legumes, home-grown silage, and fresh green grass.

Low-Impact Processing

At every one of our creameries, we work to conserve water and recycle wherever possible. We avoid using chemicals that are bad for the environment.
